What a ride! I may have just worked my last game: the 2A Semi finals in the dome with Rock Rapids Boyden Hull and IKM Manning. It really helps to have a 6'8" and a 6'9" receiver that can catch and can run. The coaches at IKM were gentlemen and could not have been accommodating-they just ran into a buzz-saw and got beat 35-7. === This marks the end of a 42 year career of officiating and a great time - 6 finals, 16 trips to the dome, 24 years in the playoffs, 49 games in the playoffs. Who knows what the future may bring - I should take up coaching - that seems so simple compared to officiating and at least I know the rules and know what to call the officials to get their attention!
