OK--go back 45 years, at the old Glidden Methodist Church: Bruce/Donna were being married, in the crowd were Aus/Margaret Britt, Hazel and Harold Bender, Warren and Madge Conner, Ester Conner(can't remember husband?)-bridge group of Mom/Dad's, Mom wore an olive green dress. Girls wore olive green/gold dresses, made by Lorene Kline, Jerilyn was Donna's matron of honor, Dick(with black framed glasses and black hair) stood up with Bruce, Randy and Nancy lit the candles, Shelly(age 7?) was the flower girl, Bill was an usher, and Maxine(pregnant with Debbie) sat at the guest book, in her shiny green dress! The reception was in the basement, with cake, ice cream and punch(kool aid punch!) And?? yes, the brother put Bruce's prized, red '60 chevy hard top impala, up on bareels, and it took all of Bruce's fratenity group to take the car back down! Uncle Albert didn't get a cat put in his car--Bruce/Donna honeymooned in Sioux City, stopping in Corallville on the way, due to the snow? Are we getting old, or what? Fun memories--and so much has happened since then!? BV, Army, Gernmany, Charter Oak, Galva, Lake View: The best: 3 wonderful kids/3 spouses/4 grandsons/ 2 grand daughters!!! ! :)
